Certified Coach and Lived Experience

Hi, I’m Mandy, a certified grief coach who walks alongside individuals navigating the painful terrain of loss as well as personal development. My approach is rooted not just in training but in lived experience—I lost my spouse to cancer just seven months after the diagnosis.

Why Grief is Messy Was Born

Now, I help others move through grief and toward healing. Let’s face it, we all have grief. If there has been a death of something or someone, you have experienced grief. That experience didn’t just change me—it reshaped everything I thought I knew about grief, healing, and identity. Grief Is Messy was born from that place.

Who I Work With

I support people who are navigating grief in all its forms—death of a loved one, divorce, life transitions, identity loss, and the quiet griefs no one talks about. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but silently overwhelmed on the inside. You might be:

  • Mourning someone or something others don’t fully understand
  • Feeling like you’re stuck while the world keeps spinning
  • Wondering who you are now that everything has changed
  • Wanting to find purpose again—but unsure how

You Are Not Broken

You are not broken. You are grieving—and that deserves care, not correction.
